Yarram Recreation Reserve
The annual Easter Monday Monster Market will be held by the Rotary Club of Yarram and the Lions Club of Yarram on Easter Monday at the Yarram Recreation Reserve, Buckley Street, Yarram. Gates open to stall holders at 6 a.m. and to the public at 8 a.m.
Entrance for the public is via Buckley Street and all other gates will be locked. Please see details below for vendors.
Parking is in Buckley Street, Railway Parade, Commercial Road, but no parking is available in the Reserve. No dogs are allowed on the Recreation Reserve so please leave your pets at home.
This annual Market attracts thousands of visitors from Latrobe Valley, South Gippsland, Sale as well as local people, their visitors and holiday-makers. Cost for admission is $2.
If it’s clothing, socks, plants, gifts, hand-made goods or novelties you want, stock up for the year here!
Whilst the Monster Market tends to wind down around 130pm there will still be plenty of action in the Rec Reserve over at the Really Living Expo until 3pm including concerts, a healing tent, stalls, food, readers etc. Once the Buckley St gates are unmanned around 130pm, you can come in for free and head over to the May Pavillion for the rest of Really Living Expo.
Bookings are not taken.
Gates open to stallholders at 6am Easter Monday on Livingston St Yarram, enter off Church St. The Buckley St, Church Rd and Railway Parade gates will be locked to vendors. There will be signs to direct you to Livingston Street. Please note this is a different entrance than previous years.
Food Vendors : $50 (this is to cover the additional waste costs)
Other Vendors : $20
Standard stall sites are 5m wide with a variable depth according to location but more than enough for a 3m marque and a large car.
Larger stalls will be charged in multiples of the standard stall rate.
Once the gates open at 6am, someone from Rotary will take your money and you will be shown to a spot. Yes it is possible at that time to request particular areas and that will be accommodated as much as possible. However no promises can be made on individual locations.
When you are packing up to leave, please be aware that events will still be taking place in the May Pavillion and visitors will still be moving around the area.
Please take your rubbish with you or place it in the bins provided.
Camping is not permitted either in the street or in the Recreation Reserve.
Please make sure you vacate the Recreation Reserve no later than 4pm
